Driving with chains on your tires makes winter weather a minor inconvenience. Today, we traveled to Kings Beach, CA on Lake Tahoe for a midwife appointment where we encountered some snowy conditions on our way home. With chains on my tires, my traction was no problem, and all I ever had to worry about was being able to see through blowing snow. NO sweat.
I'm afraid I'm going to get used to winter driving with no traction problems...so watch out when I make it back to MI for winter weather. Now I know why some tourists drive like fools, they're used to having chains. Good luck driving this winter and get some chains for a fun day of driving.
